Support Beyond the Therapy Room
Reflect and learn about sex and relationships at your own pace
SHIPS Self-Help Courses
Â
SHIPS Self-Help Courses are designed to support you in understanding sex, relationships, and yourself.Â
Bringing inclusive, trauma-informed and neuro-affirming therapeutic content directly to you, on your terms.
Â
What to expect from a SHIPS Self-Help Course?Â
Â
Designed and delivered by SHIPS founder Dr Sarah Ashton, these courses share the same knowledge and strategies she uses with her clients. Self-led reflection and learning offer an accessible and affordable way to take the first steps toward healing, clarity, and change, with no referral needed.
Each course includes:
- Pre-recorded videos and written evidence-based education
- Reflective questions and exercises
- Downloadable practical tools and resources
- Life time access Â
What these courses CAN'TÂ Â do:Â While SHIPS Self-Help Courses are a supportive resource, they are not a substitute for therapy and cannot provide individualised clinical support.
We want your thoughts! Tell us what you'd like to learn about.
We're committed to sharing skills and information with you that are actually supportive and helpful. Tell us what you'd like to see on SHIPS Self-Help Courses.Â

We’ve created and sourced a range of accessible resources to support sexual health, mental health, relationships, and gender identity. These include worksheets, books, podcasts and more. Â
We believe everyone should have access to support, so you’ll also find free resources in our collection. Just look for the SHIPS heart logo in the bottom-right corner, it’s our way of showing that this one is gifted to you.
